This is my second visit to Lisbon in the last 5 years. I don’t know what it is about Portugal that takes me back to the country.

Is it the food? the wine? the people? or the weather?

Is it because of my sweet memories in Rossio or the Vasco Da Gama bridge or the color of the sea?

I can’t explain… so I’ll let the pictures talk.

In Portugal, every time you click you camera button, you think you have taken a postcard pic. The place is simply beautiful.

P.S. While I’ve covered only Lisbon and Sintra in this post, there is actually a lot more to see and do in Portugal. I’ve been lucky in the past to have visited the towns of Porto and Faro which were splendid. I also hear that places such as Algarve and Lagos are truely beautiful. 

If you plan to combine Portugal with another country in Europe I would recommend Spain due to its proximity, similar weather and connectivity to Portugal. Hope you get a chance to visit this beautiful country soon!
