Mesmerized by Sevilla Romántica…

acover

So this year, my husband and I decided to take a summer trip to Spain. Just a few days after our decision, another couple from our friends decided to join us on this trip. The planning went on for months and finally, we started our journey to Spain on 25th May. We started with Madrid, then went to Seville, then Malaga and then Barcelona. Unfortunately, the other couple had limited holidays, so they had to return to Mumbai from Barcelona; my husband and I continued our trip to Lisbon and then London.

Although I visited so many cities in this trip and as you would imagine, clicked thousands of photos, I am using this post only to show you a glimpse of Seville – our most favourite city in Spain!

Sevilla (Seville) is the capital of Andalucia region in southern Spain. The city is situated on the banks of the beautiful and serene Guadalquivir River. Buzzing festivals, bright colours, bullfights and Flamenco happen to be some of the most popular features of Seville.

Seville is developing itself more and more as a cycling city. The large and omnipresent cycle lanes give you an opportunity to discover this city in a fun, safe and quick way. Cycling is also an easy way to discover the lesser known suburbs of Seville. So we chose to hire bikes and ride!

I don’t think my pics can to justice to this beautiful toy city. Our experience in Seville was so rejuvenating that even now when I close my eyes and remember this city, I feel kind of mesmerized.

To cut it short… here is my final line. Do not miss Seville when you visit Spain.
